About Me
Hi there! I'm Kristi and it's very nice to meet you! I have been been behind the lens since 2011 and love capturing memories that will last forever. I'm an extroverted-introvert which means you can find me behind my computer editing, reading, watching reruns of Friends or Big Bang Theory, rewatching all three of the Pitch Perfect movies, going on bike rides, exploring with my husband, or taking my pups Parker & Valor for walks. I'm very much a peaceful person, but I literally come alive when I have a camera in my hand and am able to get creative. When I meet you for your session, it's like the spark is lit and I become enthralled with creating magical moments for you and your loved ones.
Photography to me is one of the most special things that there is. Creating images for my clients to hang on their walls or browse through their album is like creating small time capsules. It's one of the few things that increase in value over time, and is one of my driving forces to bring you amazing images of you and your loved ones. Why Choose Me
With over 12 years of experience photographing families, being the oldest of five, ten nieces and nephews, and growing up with a ton of younger cousins has given me the gift of understanding children. Sometimes they need time to warm up to me, or some are ready to dive right in. Giving your children space to be who they are is something I take very seriously. I want you to have authentic photos of your family. A special moment for me is when at the end of a session your child runs up to me and asks if he/she can be my friend and gives me a big hug - its happened a few times. It brings me so much joy to know that I made the experience enjoyable for them too.
My goal is to have a fun relaxing session walking you through poses and moments while getting to know you. I have some tricks up my sleeve and have been known to get silly if I have to with children to get those natural smiles. I love meeting new people whether you are local to my area or traveling on vacation, I would love to make you apart of the KMP Family.
